IP21 enclosures
Enclosures with a protection degree of IP21 have been entirely designed by Elhand engineers. The enclosure ensures excellent cooling performance of transformers, resulting from many years of experience and conducted heat run tests. It features an optimized mechanical design.
The enclosure together with the transformer can be transported using an overhead crane or lifting device with the use of lifting lugs. Transportation does not require disassembly of the enclosure roof. All enclosure components are demountable. Inside the enclosure, there is a main grounding terminal.
The steel sheet is protected against corrosion through degreasing, phosphating, and the application of a double epoxy-polyester coating.
The IP21 protection degree allows installation of the transformer in switchgear rooms and production halls. It also provides protection against direct contact.
