DC Coupling Reactors

Function
Coupling (equalizing) reactors type ED2I are used in systems in which rectifiers operate in parallel within multiphase systems. Their main task is to equalize currents flowing between parallel rectifier bridges, which is particularly important in situations where asymmetry of output voltages of individual rectifiers occurs.
The coupling reactor stabilizes energy flow in the DC circuit, protects semiconductor components against overload, and ensures proper current distribution throughout the system, which directly contributes to increased lifetime and reliability of the rectifiers.
