Isolating Transformers
Isolation transformers are used in systems where effective voltage separation between circuits is essential. They provide protective separation of the primary and secondary windings, significantly increasing the operational safety of the installation and connected equipment. The separation of windings is achieved by using a split bobbin or an electrostatic shield, which additionally limits the transfer of disturbances and improves power quality.
- Enhanced electrical safety due to full circuit separation
- Protection of connected equipment against overvoltages, disturbances and damage
- Minimization of short-circuit and failure risks in low-voltage systems
- Ease of servicing and testing thanks to clear design and simple access to terminals
- Configurable number of taps, enclosure type and mounting method
- Railway industry
- Marine industry
- Power quality systems
- Oil & gas industry
- Heavy and mining industry
- Renewable energy sources
- Power electronics and drive systems
