Railway transformers

Function
Railway transformers are designed to supply electrical equipment operating in demanding service conditions typical for railway infrastructure. They ensure stable and reliable power supply for control systems, signaling, automation and other equipment used in rolling stock and trackside installations. As standard, they are adapted for mounting using fixing brackets, facilitating integration with control cabinets, technical containers and vehicle installations.
Current terminals can be positioned on one or both sides of the transformer, allowing flexible adaptation to the connection layout. Upon request, transformers can be equipped with enclosures rated IP23, IP44 or IP54, increasing resistance to environmental factors typical for railway applications, such as vibrations, shocks, dust, humidity and temperature fluctuations.
