International Railway Fair TRAKO 2023
The 15th TRAKO International Railway Fair is now behind us. As an exhibitor and participant, we can confidently say that railroads have undergone a significant transformation and are back on track, with their future looking greener than ever.
Regardless of the region in the world, there continues to be a reliance on public transportation. Rail transportation not only reduces the carbon footprint (trains emit three times less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than cars and eight times less than airplanes) but is also becoming an increasingly appealing option for passengers.
Today, trains are being built to be:
- Fast, competing with air travel.
- Eco-friendly, with low electricity consumption.
- Comfortable, with a focus on passenger comfort.
- Multifunctional, meeting three essential requirements: transportation, workspace and relaxation.
