These days, the demanding electricity industry as well as internal arrangements between power producers and their customers, shape the required power quality parameters. Among the specifications defining the quality of electricity, there are values such as the voltage or current harmonic distortion factors. The reason for the occurrence of higher harmonics is mainly due to the increasing number of non-linear loads used in electric grids. ELHAND Transformatory offers an effective solution to minimize negative effects of non-linear loads. In order to ensure proper power quality parameters at the point of common coupling, we offer our customers, among others, sinewave filters installed at the output of frequency converters and harmonic filters for power supply systems of six-pulse rectifiers. In terms of improving the quality of electricity, we are able to meet even the most stringent and customised requirements of our customers.
